I participated in Revenue Direct's monetization service program several months ago and was told that ALL 125 of the domain names I had with them were "fail listed by their upstream advertising provider" (which we know is Google). They have withheld a good amount of money owed ($x,xxx). In fact, they haven't paid me a cent. In fact, Google had no problem with my names at all when I switched them to other Google Feeds providers such as Fabulous, Sedo, Namedrive, etc. It was just a lie coming from RevenueDirect.com to not pay me and many others as well. It happens the day you are suppose to get paid so they can steal your money along the way. I mentioned this to a Google rep at Domain Fest a couple weeks ago and they have heard this complaint regarding RevenueDirect.com as well.

I have been in the domain industry since 1998 and have a very good reputation. I have never had any problems before with any parking companies until RevenueDirect.com, including both Yahoo Feeds and Google Feed parking companies. After hearing numerous complaints from others at both the Domain Forums and the Domain Conferences which I attend, regarding RevenueDirect scamming people, I felt somebody needs to speak up.

Is anyone else in this same position and owed money by RevenueDirect?

If this has happened to anyone else who would like to join me in doing something about it, please let me know. I think there is strength in numbers if we all demand that RD make good in paying money owed to us. Please pm me if interested.

Thanks, Jim

Jim.....wasn't there a thread about this six months to a year ago?

If what you say is true about getting "fail listed" (I've never heard that term), then none of your domains should have been able to work at any parking company that uses a Google feed.

It sure does sound fishy!

I hope you get paid.

I've been parking with RD since around March 2008 and as regards to payments, they have paid me on time and in full every month since then.

The only 'problems' as such regarding withholding money owed, was when RD had an tax issue relating to non US citizens which was sorted out.

I don't know why a certain percentage of people seem to have all these problems with RD.

There was a thread about 6 months ago but lately I been hearing more and more people getting ripped off by revenue direct that I feel it's time to speak my mind again. I was really upset at DomainFest when I keep running into people who been burned by RevenueDirect like myself. I personally talked to the Google rep regarding this and there is no room for companies like them scamming people.

I guess RevenueDirect.com thinks I am stupid because the next day after they did not pay me, I tried the exact same names with other parking companies that use Google feed and all worked just fine like they always do. I have all the verification and proof that I need regarding this.

Regarding RevenueDirect.com paying some people, I am sure they do to keep it going, but out of the bigger accounts of people owed more than X,XXX
that is were many people were getting screwed over.

I was supposed to meet with John the general manager of RevenueDirect at one of the domain conferences to discuss this issue, but he never showed up after a PM to him to set the meeting up. That should tell you something regarding the character of them.

Thanks, Jim

A great way to "steal" money... Collect on "clicks", then come up with a lame reason to withhold it from you. That way they get to keep 100% of your revenue without accountability to anyone. Hell, they don't even have to "look" at you while they steal it from ya'. At least a street mugger has to have enough balls to swipe your wallet and run away...

They should change their name - your Revenue Direct to Us

What a scam company.

Where is their main office if you don't mind me asking?

L2

They are owned by Dotster.com. When I called Dotster they pass the ball over to RevenueDirect who never answers there phone.

I love the domain business and this is what I do full-time to support my family. Been doing it since 1998. The people that I have met, the parking companies I have dealt with are first class. However, the bad apples
like "revenue direct" need to be exposed to help clean up the industry. They are the "Madoffs" of the domain parking industry. Pay some people to keep it going while screwing the bigger accounts on payday.

One big lesson learned, stick to the solid companies, parked.com, smartname.com, fabulous.com, namedrive.com, DDC.com, and some others.

Thanks, Jim
