I have not been very active over here for a few years, so I thought the 'welcome center' might be the appropriate place to start over and ask some questions. I don't have a lot of time, so let me cut to the chase and explain why I came here... and see if NamePros is the right place for me. I need some feedback.
I want to purchase inbound links for my website. I wrote a good ad on another forum, and they will not let me bump it. I'm not one to break rules, and I don't want to be obnoxious either. But, after the thread has died for two or three days, I would like to bump and say, 'anyone else?' (assuming that the ad generated some business).
So two questions:
1) What are the rules or established protocols regarding bumping without being obnoxious?
2) Are there rules against buying links? I assume that's permitted, but I did not see a forum for it. Also, is it against the rules to ask for diggs? Also, Is it against the rules to have someone open email accounts?
I'm also interested in buying content. On another board a lot of people who can't speak grammatically-correct English call themselves 'writers'. Not trying to be rude, many non-native speakers actually have good technical skills and are knowledgeable and have impressed me. However, their stories need to be edited a lot. And, I'm really tired of the respun/translated-article gibberish (if you know what I mean). If someone can give me the bottom line on the writing racket here at NP that would be cool too (pm me if you like).
Okay, I'm a straight shooter as you might see. Hope to meet some other straight shooters here.
