ResellerClub(DirectI) domain pushing error?

I was trying to use "Move Service" to push a domain to another Reseller Club user(under a different reseller account).
Got the following error:
[4] Error Message: The Customer account you are trying to move the domain name to is under Registrar Public Domain Registry. You will need to initiate a Domain Transfer Request from Public Domain Registry to accomplish this.

Are people allowed to push move a domain between two different DirectI reseller accounts?

I tried pushing some names away from both findyouaname.com and website.in today. Got the same error messages in both places.

AFAIK, website.in is it's own registrar...

Website.IN (Now answerable.com) is owned by DirectI/ResellerClub. Their recent namechange means they are in direct competition with pretty much all their resellers due to their huge price drop.

I've posted an email from a ResellerClub rep over at ResellerClubTalk.com.

I wouldn't advise moving to a DirectI run registrar as their support is something to be desired.

Apparently website.in (or answerable) and resellerclub have different registrars, so for any transfer between the 2, a 1 year extension is required. Extremely inconvenient.

They're 2 registrars.You can push domain names within one registrar,but you can't push domain names between registrars.

Please don't bring estdomains into this. Estdomains is another registrar altogether. Confirmed

Apparently Answerable has transecute as registrar and resellerclub has public domain registry as registrar for GTLDs.

Yeah and that is one of the biggest advantages of having a domain at a directi reseller. You can find a list of some domain resellers together with their registrars here.

It seems they offers the cheapest .in reg at just $11

They don't seem too bad looking site wise.. And they are a web hosting company.. So I'd say yes.
