Hello everyone,

This is a special request that we need to be done as soon as possible.

In anticipation of our 3rd Anniversary at PolurNET on June 20, we will be "polurizing" NamePros for approximately a 3-day period. This will involve linking to a splash page from the NP header, as well as a forum post background image that will be displayed specially for all PolurNET customers. There are some design elements we need to be done, so please see below for specific requirements.

Prizes :
= $40-50+ Singe Splash page (exact amount depending on quality)
= $15 Forum Post Background (exact amount depending on quality)

DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS ::
1) -- Splash Page --

The splash page involves creating an attractive, XHTML/CSS-based, single page design that will advertise our 3rd anniversary and products at PolurNET. An example is found here:

http://www2.globat.com/promo/

Text can be left in placeholder (try to use our website and the above example as guidance though), so that we can fill in appropriate details. Basically, our anniversary, support options, server reliability and webhosting products (these are all mentioned at our homepage at http://www.polurnet.com) need to be advertised

Color Requirements : Matching colors to www.polurnet.com

Size Requirements : 800x600 screen resolution. All images and layout must be unique or from legal stock photography (like istockphoto)

=====================
2) ---Forum Post Background---

General Requirements :
The background will be replacing the default forum post style as you see on this post.The new style should not be obtrusive or hard-to-read, rather smooth, elegant, simple, attractive and clean, with noticeable indication of our corporate identity & style at Polurnet.com. Light colors/shades should be used.

Size Requirements : We should be able to 'tile' the design (i.e. repeat) so that the background expands as necessary to cover all post sizes. It should absolutely not look distorted when the image is repeated x & y directions. The background should not be large, but just relatively small and rectangular in shape, since it will be tiled

Contest End Date & Time : June 18, 2007 at 8PM EDT. May be ended earlier or later, depending on number of entries received.

Note that each part of this contest are independent, and different entrants may be selected for each. Thus, if you feel you can only do one of the above, feel free to do so; you are also encouraged to try both.

If you require further clarification, please post on this thread. PMs will not be answered in relation to this contest as per contest rules.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

I don't have any at the moment, but if some of you remember peaches012 (Peter)'s NamePros King-for-a-day event a few months ago, it is a similar concept.
