Color Requirements : Has to work on a white background.

General Requirements : Should have the name in the logo. Should have a setting sun. Should have a bicycle. If you can think of a creative way to include the bike as the cyc part of the name, that would be cool.

Additional Information : I will provide feedback once I have at least 3 logos submitted. The winning logo will have their website linked from my new site DnSalvage.com on the portfolio page for this domain.

I think scorpionagency's design could be described as "good" until he came up with the font in message 4. That font is really nice and suits the concept very well.

Also I think one the entries is a bad copy of scorpionagency's idea but I won't tell you which one.

Thanks for the complement.... As for the other design you mentioned, I can only be flattered as they did use their own elements, they just arranged them in the same sequence as me. It's a nice feeling to be able to inspire others. :hehe:

Added a background around the whole logo to help it pop a little more as the CH indicated they preferred.

Interesting scorpio, the spokes on that cycle throw me for a loop though, they sort of look weird.

Maybe put an outline around the whole thing sort of like the clouds in the other one. Also the sun should probably be 1 color that is not the same as the words of the domain because the black/grey in it looks a little off.

Scorpio my design of the bike was made from a previous cycle name that didnt go through. Search circuitcycles.ie on here. Also he asked for a sun to be in it. Kinda hard not to fall in the same concepts. Its not like I can claim ownership of the CYC bike since I made it first but thats what the contest holder wanted.

Can you please re-read my post.. I never accused you of copying my elements, I actually stated your elements are completely different. However, the positioning of said elements was the same. That is all. No need to flip out. But it's obvious that the positioning is the same, again your elements are different as I've already stated.

I'm not mad at you, I'm flattered. So you have nothing to worry about

nodws, your logos are good but not near the quality of these guys, at least in my eyes only.

I am not really sure how to give feedback because it basically needs to be redone from cratch and look more like the 2 that I like.

From what I can see you are looking for a "cartoonish" and asymmetric logo, should stated that on the 1st post, now its too late

When it comes to designing, a lot of times the one paying for said services is the one that has the final say & sure, it may be based off their personal taste. But the last thing a designer EVER wants to do is argue with a client / CH. Very unprofessional.
