[REQ-LOGO] Driving school logo needed

This design contest is going to be for a logo design. The winner will received $35 via PayPal. The contest will end 04/03/2010, however I'm hoping to choose a winner much earlier.

In this logo, I'm looking for something that can replace the current outdated logo (shown below).

Ideally, the logo should be a car, with the words Bayside Driving School somewhere on the side, preferably the door. I'm interested in something modern and clean, that is easily recognizable. I don't have a particular color scheme in mind, but lighter colors are a must. The surrounding background should be transparent.

I like the idea. However, I would like to see your attempt at a logo around a car as the basis, as stated in the requirements.

I really like that idea! I would have never thought to use a license plate as the foundation of the logo.

I would like to see the words Driving School to be spaced apart so that they are the same width as Bayside.

Also, could you try and add "MVA Approved Driver's Education" in italics along the bottom of the plate? (between the bottom holes)

The idea is coming along well. Can you try the "MVA Approved Driver's Education" portion in white text directly on the blue background? I don't like the red on the white background.
