[REQ-LOGO] $25 Design Contest (Logo & Banner required)

Hi guys,

Looking for a logo for my site beerboot.co.uk
For those of you who don't know what a "beer boot" is, click here to see some examples. For the logo, I'd like an image of the beer boot with "BeerBoot.co.uk" beside it in black. The logo must also have a transparent background.

Aswell as this, I'd like a simple banner below the logo aswell - something like what I've got just now, which I put up as an example of what I roughly require. You can see my design skills are shocking :hehe: But maybe someone can add a neat twist to what is already there?


Contest End Date & Time : 10 days from timestamp. Could finish contest early if I like a design submitted.
Prize - $25

Maybe the beerboot.co.uk text would look better yellow and outlined by black? If you can try another font aswell that would be excellent to maybe match the rest of the site?

Last I heard from kev was two days ago saying he was arranging payment..

Still nothing from the CH. No PMs or payment.

I'll update again tomorrow.

According to his profile, he hasn't logged in since the 2nd.. So lets give him 7 days from the last login to complete this business deal. From 10 / 2 / 2011, 7 days would be 10 / 9 / 2011 (Sunday). If they haven't logged back in by then, the contest goes into abandonment by default.

Just in case he does read this, and the fact he IS using the logo on his site already, I'll let Scorp and the contest winner know, that I have kevs home address, mobile number and landline - should contact be required.

This is in essence theft.

Although it now appears his "skin Licence" for the site has expired.

I'm giving a final 24 hours from the time of this post for him to login and take care of this. Otherwise I'll be forced to proceed with issuing a bad business infraction for contest abandonment.

If your design is still being used and not paid for I would suggest sending a DMCA take-down to both him and the hosting company of the site the design is displayed on. Here is a free automated DMCA generator: http://www.3druntime.com/dmca-notice-generator/

This contest is now closed due to abandonment and disciplinary actions have been taken.

I would advise that the designer proceed with filing those 2 DMCA's if their work is still being used on the site without being paid for yet.
