I am still selling a few names every month, but haven't been able to update here. Will try to share more

Sold this last month

Got this in September 2021

Sold Via Afternic Lander

Had a BIN of 10K, and AN broker negotiated it and closed at 6K which I was happy to take.

2023 is slower than I anticipated, but 2022 was also slow and It was when I realized that this was an unpredictable business and made some changes in my approach.

I did around 150K in gross sales till June in 2022
This year, I have crossed 300K YTD, so I can't say i am not happy with the result.

My little side hustle is starting to pay off :)

I am hoping the rest of the year will be better for all of us..

Good luck to us all!!

After a multi-month period with no retail sales, was glad to have this inbound BIN sale last week. I had registered name for 2 year period, which I almost always do, but had not held it long. Liked the term as a brand. Found it when expired using ExpiredDomains. Standard renewal fee.

r e f l e x i v e .xyz

$1595
Inbound, BIN
Dan
sale via Afternic network

No idea on user plans, still Dan NS unchanged. Dan paid out super fast.

No further information please. Best wishes to buyer - many positive ways to use this name in several niches.

Had these 4 sales in the last 3 or so weeks.

All are handregged and held for about 2-3 months, and all inbound BINs.

I had dropped most of my domains to wholesale prices as I had no sales in April and May at all, now I've slightly increased them after these sales.

Portfolio size around 520

Clearance / EOL sale. Afternic BIN, hold time 11 months.

Definitely worth 4-fig, retail. But I have to draw the line in the sand, as I'm looking to downsize by a lot (4300 names currently, down from 5k). Domain was approaching expiry and I had no intention to renew it.

Discounted and it sold rather quick.

I'm happy with the sale, I believe the buyer is probably even happier.

Edit: Drop reg.

DAN offer $100 about 3 days ago.
Accepted, buyer paid.
Bought from tower (GD Closeouts) around 2018/19 with transfer/renewals.
I mean, I realized this was a bad buy, regardless it sold. Commission is $15, i think i made like $20 to $30, not sure. I'm just glad i didn't have to take an L on this one.

🔥 Pleased to share BC (xyz) sold for $110K via @undeveloped.

Have received quite a number of offers for this one in the past, from $20K to highest was at $188K (same buyer) early this year when my partner will only accept over 200K otherwise he was thinking to build on it!

Special thanks to @GoDaddy brokers assisting with this sale & to Swetha @swetha for her continuous contributions & sharing 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Wish all domain investors more sales to come 💪🏼💪🏼

HR in Jan 2022, cost 2 x premium reg fees at around $5.2K.

E// Kraken in King

I bought this oct 2018 for $25 from tower (GD Closeouts)

Renewed/Transferred... and it expires end of Nov, so it's the best time for this sail. as i got my year's worth ^_^

$499 BIN

Following the Twiki method, i lowered the price from, i think $2495. It sold 2 - 3 months after price lowerage.

Idk if it was because of price lowerage or if it was because the buyer came along only now.

Either way, that's one less renewal next Nov.... . . . . . .

Broadway/Sings/./com

PP - $5 + 10 renewal (it was a GD Closeout purchase).

Sold for $1,500, Afternic, negotiated lead, BIN was 1,995.

I will always remember this sale for 2 reasons:

1. At the time of the sale, I was in vacation, on a beautiful island in Greece.
2. The domain sold on 29.06, GoDaddy / Afternic paid me today (24.07). So it was almost a month ...

My first ever sale !
Received an offer 2 months ago and we set up for 500$ , the buyer disappeared.
Out of rage I raised BIN on 1500.

M/u/n/c/i/e in ORG sold for BIN $999 on GoDaddy auctions. Hold time was at least 3 years.

Sadly, I didn't have a GD lander so I only received $749. I have toyed with pricing on this domain over the years from as high as $3k and as low as $500 on different marketplaces. I knew this would eventually sell. I am surprised to see it went to another domainer but I look forward to seeing how much they sell it for in the future. :)
