Hold time just under 3 months
Purchased in an uncontested auction as the single Bidder.
I have around 350 dot coms right now.

A little note:
You know I had my first sale last November on the 7th. This sale makes the completion of 1 year since I had my first sale.

Well There was another sale as well yesterday...

I will be doing the math later, but I sold a little shy of 100K in the year.
Maybe 100K if I included my liquidation sales and LLLL sales. Will check later..
But pretty stoked.
Like, Holy Cow, this thing works haha.

Good luck to all of you.

Woke up to this sale:
Bought as part of promo domains in November last year and it had just expired.
It sold after a few days of expiry.
I will take it... :)

r/v/p/a/r/t/s .us
Venue: Afternic
Sales Price: $200
Cost: $~3 (drop reg or from bulk purchase, can't remember exactly)

Had listed at $500 dropped it to $200 and sold a few days later, it is a great name, but really trying to clean up names and refocus on upgrading my .com names, this name expired in a few weeks and probably would have renewed, but dropped price to see if it would sell and it did.

u/s/e/r-/d/a/t/a .com
Venue: Afternic
Sales Price: $100
Cost: $~10 (GD closeout)

I am a big fan of hypen names, had this listed at $500 and dropped to $100 and sold next day. When I first picked it up, I saw the two keywords user and data together for closeout price and instantly added to cart. As I thought more about the name and user data being a hot topic these days and not in a good way (negative connotation), I decided to drop price after only holding for 90 days and it sold right away. I am happy to let it go for $100 and can reinvest into another ten names with much better risk reward profile (although 10x in a few months isn't bad). As I mentioned in a post a few days ago, I am more organized now and have my expiration dates lined up and can easily update pricing on names expiring within x number of days. Keep in mind, I have names that I registered when I just started out that are now coming up for renewal and they are such garbage, I can't wait to not see them anymore in my portfolio lol, but in meantime I am dropping the prices and may as well grab $100-$200 on as many as I can before they expire and reinvest into higher quality names. I have been upgrading and hitting the expired auctions hard the last few months (more research into names purchased being done as well as avoiding pitfalls of name selection as I learn from other sophisticated domain investors) and believe I will see the hard work begin to pay off with more quality sales and higher price points as well. In the meantime, I am going to keep building out my master excel spreadsheet file (pricing, cost basis, expiration dates, and other analytics), and discounting names that are coming up for expiration, and just keep studying and getting better each day. This is enough insight for tonight :)

No further details.

Afternic BIN, hold time 11 months. Hand reg.

Note: I'm clearing a bunch of 2-word xyz approaching expiry, and it seems that $199 is the sweet spot for them.

Now that I am more organized with the excel spreadsheet, can go and evaluate my names and pricing very fast now, had this at $999, dropped it to $500 and sold two days later. Back to the grind and upgrading into better quality.

Afternic BIN, hold time 6 months. Drop Reg.

Note: Reduced price from EUR1488 a couple days ago and it sold. It's a good price for this domain (for the buyer...) so they jumped on the discount. I'm happy with the sale too.

Congrats, Do you see a relation between traffic and probability of sale? Like say you see lot of traffic in DAN/Sedo on a domain buit its not selling and then you reduce price on those domains and it gets sold?
