This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

Do not post only, "great sale" or similar as this doesn't contribute to the thread. (Don't reply for the sole purpose of complimenting.)
  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I acquired from Dynadot Expired Auctions in Dec 2020
Probably the other domain investor didn't had patience to wait anymore for inbound. It was an inspired move, but there is the other side of the coin, for each 1-2 like these sold, you will have another 100 or so waiting to find a buyer, so inspiration, luck and timing are vital.

Genesis Development .com $45540 in 60 equal payments of $759. Acquired for $466 11/2020.
$20k offer came via its landing page and escrow.com, turned it down; we eventually talked a few times and agreed on deal. Tried the payments on Dan.com, but the buyer's credit card wouldn't pass the 3D authorization, so I approached Epik. They were very professional and responsive, reassured the buyer and set up the contract. I collected the first payment already.

Wow.
I can see it still in Epik.
was it an existing company?
I dont know about such keyword.

Registered in dec 2016 at fasthosts promo then transfer/renewals till last october 2020 when it was sold at brandbucket bin of 1990. Little undersold specially in these times but it was old listing and i had forgot to upgrade. Still nonetheless profitable sale.

Here is another old sale I did not report on NP before, or anywhere else, I sold GOVR (dot) (com) for $11,850 in October 2017 on Flippa. Was a bargain IMO.
Congratulations.
Perfect name for a political news.. #government

When I first bought GOVR my intentions were for virtual reality, but after research saw it was good for government too, which nowadays it makes even more sense.

So the sale was in fact domain + site / code + business, in a package deal?

o p e n - i d e a s . c o m

- sold for $850, Afternic
- registered for $8.47 with GoDaddy
- hold time 10 days

{BIN was $1,150, with minimum offer $1,150
GoDaddy contacted me (three days after I registered this dropped domain) about potential buyer.
Initial offer was $750. They could negotiate $100 up. It has been in "Pending Sale" status in my Afternic account those several days.
I hope I will be able to push this freshly registered domain to Afternic's account now and won't be waiting 60 days lock gone to have this domain out of my account:sneaky:}
