GoDaddyGoDaddy
Looking at my recent sales, seems cannabis domains are hotter than ever (especially in Canada) while crypto is still steady.

CryptoAve dot com - $995 GoDaddy
KitchenerCannabis dot com - $295 GoDaddy (Kitchener = small city in Canada)
ConsumersReviews dot com - $995 Sedo
BoxedCoin dot com - $395 GoDaddy
FairCannabis dot ca - $395 Sedo
BlockchainFundings dot com - $395 GoDaddy
TorontoDispensary dot net - $395 GoDaddy
MyBank dot co - $1795 GoDaddy
DroneLawyer dot org - $395 GoDaddy
ScarboroughCannabis dot com - $295 GoDaddy (Scarborough = neighborhood in Toronto)
ProTokens dot com - $995 Sedo
CryotherapyLasVegas dot com - $495 GoDaddy
FreshCannabis dot ca - $695 Sedo
Coinited dot com - $495 GoDaddy
Droneports dot org - $395 Afternic
Canna-Coin dot com - $395 GoDaddy
InvestMoney dot org - $495 GoDaddy
ChainsNetwork dot com - $395 GoDaddy
EtobicokeCannabis dot com - $295 GoDaddy (Etobicoke = neighborhood in Toronto)
CryptoFace dot net - $295 GoDaddy
TampaHouseCleaning dot com - $395 GoDaddy
InterCannabis dot com - $495 GoDaddy

Every one of these canna domains was handreg other than InterCannabis (which was bought here). Other domains were either handreg, purchased here, or purchased on GoDaddy auctions for about 10 to 20% of price they sold.

if u do not mind couple things:

how do you know they sold in canada? or most sold there? I only see couple canada keywords there...

what is the time span of these sales roughly?

bin or makeoffer?

any outbound at all???

thanks!!!!

All sales were BIN within last couple months. Zero outbound. I'm assuming most canna domain buyers are Canadian because Canna-Coin and InterCannabis are the only ones that aren't .ca or contain a Canadian city name.

Ending a domain's price in 95, 97, 99, etc. all work (the point is it looks like a smaller amount).

i//like//ike dot com

Purchase price: $90 at Godaddy expired auctions
Sales Price: $200
Venue: Inbound through Undeveloped

Although this was an inbound lead through Undeveloped, I did send an outbound email to the buyer's organization 3 months ago, leaving open the possibility this sale was a result of outbound.

Paybit (ca)
Sedo $799

Unfortunately Iโ€™ve decided to cancel this sale. The sale happened at sedo November 30, 2018. I reported because typically sedo sales are a done deal. Buyer failed to make payment until 15th of JANUARYwhen I got a message from sedo that they had remitted payment. I was very upset with sedo at this point. Itโ€™s very poor business for them to allow this lengthy delay in payment. After supplying them with an auth code to transfer on the 15th I received a message back saying to allow an additional 7-14 business days for transfer.

I sold this name very cheap as I was looking forward to having some extra cash at Xmas time. I donโ€™t need this money right now so Iโ€™ve decided to not sell the domain to this buyer. More putting my foot down and rebelling.

At this point because buyer had remitted payment itโ€™s my fault the transaction was cancelled and I accept that. Itโ€™s not ok to wait for almost 2 months for a sale to finalyse through a marketplace like sedo.

Iโ€™ll accept any negative feedback from you here regarding this and I do realize itโ€™s also bad business for me to cancel at this point but Iโ€™ve had it with sedo.

I didnโ€™t need to bring this up here but I figured the community should know about this with sedo. I can create another post if need be so this thread doesnโ€™t get cluttered. Please donโ€™t reply to this here.

its never done til we're paid I guess. I for one am glad sedo or gd or others offer extra time for buyer to pay.. I alwyas take all extra extensions etc... and it resulted in several delayed payments for me in past from buyers. of course.. some also never got paid.

.ca names that aren't some premium 1worders or such are tough sales... but sometimes we get lucky... so I don't really know how much more your name can fetch in future.. but I do know I sold same keyword name as yours in .info some 6 months back for 650$...... also on sedo.. .info is not greatest either.. hard sales.. I never researched this keyowrd.. maybe I shuld have.. but it should be some company and buyer just probably buying up many extensions to protect brand.. I saw paybit sold in various extensions in past months. I wouldn't be suprised if it was all same buyer. this name is definutely taken in many extensions... and often brand protection won't even redirect to sites.. and go nowhere..

well... I hope you get more for it than $800 in future. keep posted. ciao.

@DomainBarracksRob what is greens supposed to mean here ? cannabis ?

That is How I saw/envisioned it yes..regd thinking cannabis....but Greens could easily apply to Vegetables,Herbs ,Lawn Care, Landscaping....all of which made "Lucid" an ideal Prefix! Waiting to see what the endusre does with it. The 2 words together is a killer combo for cannabis imo.

sounds like a bin and < 1yr old?

sure does make me (and not only) wonder if all those bin sales (one guy before you reported like 10-20 of them)... would have taken place if they were not bins but makeoffer... guess we'll never know.
