Caught two weeks ago for $12.

Inbound offer $200 via ParkingCrew lander. Countered $988 as it was my BIN on Sedo. The buyer said $250 is the max for him. I thought, cash is cash, especially for this short hold time. Tried to make it via Payoneer Escrow, but there was some glitch with the payment. In the end the buyer just paid with Paypal.


EDITED: Sorry, the try was via Payoneer Escrow, not Undeveloped. It doesn't change much tho.

Finally can report my first .app sale:

The name sold about two weeks ago, but I had to go back and forth with Name.com support for a while because of the 60 day transfer lock, and they finally pushed it today.

Fun fact: daytripapp dot com had expired and was reregistered the day before my name was purchased, so I suppose it’s the same buyer - meaning the availability of these names in .com isn’t always a deterrent.

Have about 40 .app names and this paid for most of my initial investment

We're home for so many large (and small) portfolios these days but these messages/updates always make my day, - especially since we don't have any access/insight into sales data from our users at Efty.

Initially #PolitelyRejected 3 offers of $250, $450 & $850 on MagicVapes,com domain name while negotiating with the buyer from Las Vegas and countered with a buy now offer of $1050 which he accepted, after 5-6 hour long negotiations.

I am sure I could have pulled out more and this is what most of you are going to suggest once I report this sale however, at times you need RROI (Regular Return on Investment). Especially when you arent really full time actively domain name investing. Domain Name sales have been low and slow due to several reasons, one of which is countering higher asking prices on when the offers have been regular on your nice little portfolio of 4-5k domain names. Hence I decided to sell at anything above $1000

If you quickly google “Magic Vapes” keywords, you’ll understand why this domain name commands at least low to mid four figures price point. Buyer seemed desperate enough with multiple offers and I was, at all times, hoping to crack a domain name sale.

Shall be posting another low value domain name sale in next few days which had received over 20+ enduser offers at GD Auctions but none of those offers considerable enough, hence the domainer RROI (Regular Return on Investment) desperation kicked in.

I think it was acquired in December 2014 from expired GD auctions almost dozen others. Don’t exactly remember the price.. will have to go into invoices maybe!

Happy to report my first sale ever. I bought a bunch of domains as I got into domaining but then got lazy and didn't list them anywhere. I only listed most of them on Afternic like a month back, and got a sale within a week of listing them.

The sold domain was:

personalinjuryattorneydallas in king.

It was sold through Afternic fast transfer for $275, and after Afternic commission, I received $220. Apparently, a reseller bought it.

The price might seem too low but I paid less than $15 for it and didn't think it will sell. It's important to note that although the ROI might still seem great on it as I only held it for about 6 months or so, but I'm still well in the red given my overall portfolio cost.
