Ali, I own BodyWash.co since you posted here and I did not sell it to anyone and only got $120 offer from a domainer!

I wish it will sell for 5K, but I think someone communicated wrong information to you!

Thanks
Amro"

It is odd that he would buy it not long ago for $4,488 and then wish it would sell for 5k. Buyer's remorse? It's bizarre.

TMBF dot net $500

Bought this name at Godaddy Auctions on March 27, 2016. Literally the day after it landed in my account I received an offer from GD Buy Service for $400. I countered at $500 and received payment today. I considered countering a bit higher since they used Buy Service but ultimately was very happy with the quick ROI.

Plus no sales % when selling through Buy Service. Straight $500 landed in my Paypal account

A quick $335 net is always something to be happy about. 3 times investment is an awesome 2 week roi.

sold employ//net on Flippa for $1750

Congrats! I would have expected that kind of name to fetch more though. Did it get selected as "editor's choice"? Did you do any promos?

Just completed transaction for 3/n/e/w/s dot com

Net pay of $3,300.

More details on the sale, as I have completed all the related transactions.

I had bought it for $1300 about a year ago for a news project. Wasn't attached to "3", I needed a character (letter or number)+news. So when I got sudden interest in this one and my project is still in idea stage, I decided to check what is available. Found L/N/E/W/S.com for $1850 +escrow fees, sold 3/N/E/W/S for 3,300 (funny that it has lots of 3s about it). All in all, got a great domain for free, I guess.

It is also interesting that all other Character+News names are priced really high, mostly $xx,xxx-xxx,xxx.

No outbound marketing, sudden surge of interest from a) former seller; b) consulting/marketing company; c) godaddy brokers. I assumed it all originated from the same source. The guys were eager to get it. Probably could have gotten more, but I am a sucker for "I am poor student" stories ) In this case, the name is destined for new African media outlet, I am told ) And I am all for development of Africa ) Just went through all 35 other Character+News names, some under use, some not for sale. Contacted the rest, got some outrageous quotes, one reasonable at $1850, priced accordingly mine and got it done.

Cool are they upgrading from their existing domain or a complete new website?

I'm not believing it one way or the other. Too many opposing claims. So I'm out.
