Congrats on the nice flip. What was their opening offer? Was there negotiation involved or was the price set on the landing page?

Thanks mate. No price was set on the landing page. Their opening offer was $3k, I countered $8.5k, that eventually led to their offer of $6.2k+ fees in which I was more than happy with and accepted. I probably could of got another couple of thousand outta him but I didn't feel a need to.

Airline dot net

$7,550 on flippa

Now that escrow has finalized on this one I wanted to share the story with you guys.

I originally found Airline dot net listed on Name.com, it was listed there for $1250 which I thought was still a great deal. As always before buying I check the other marketplaces to see if it is listed. I found it listed on Godaddy with a buy now price of $912 and snapped it up right away. As soon as the name was in my account and whois was change, I launched a 30 day auction on flippa and voilla.

cheers

You still made a nice $6000+ irrespective of the cost involved. That my friend is a HUGE ROI.

Hat off to you bro

Thanks for sharing the extra info.

It's going to be a (long) while before I will be able to pick winners from BIN lists methinks. AND have the confidence in the domain to invest another 50% of it's purchase value in marketing.

Great eye for domains; great sale!

This why people in the outside realms of domain often wonder how you pick names and sell them for profit. I think this why someone in Erwankina's interview also said domainers are intelligent being.

Think about it for second: how do you just pick a name and sell it? Amazing skill of mind projection and cranial mechanism. You got to love the reasoning process of the average domainer.

That's great do you have an idea who the buyer is? And were you just randomly checking auctions in name. com when the domain appeared?
