Stop selling on flippa.. Thats my 2 cents for any domainer!
Its a waste of time and money... if you buy a domain to sell it on flippa , its like gambling on a roulette table... very slim chances to win...
Domaining is a business! GL

Partially he's very right my friend (quote: its like gambling on a roulette table).

You can see for yourself the prices at which domains are selling at Flippa, and by domains I mean "good-to-fair- domains". These prices are not end-user prices for sure, much like reseller prices.

Flippa still has a lot to do to develop as a domain marketplace.

Just my two cents.

Sold a Brandable for Mid x,xxx to an end-user. They emailed me a few months ago, after a 3 month Ping pong to deal was concluded, can't reveal the name and exact figure because of the NDA.

for the anecdote: i had to drive 6h to deliver the goods as the customer refused any other transaction including me offering to pay escrow fees and signing big forms as if it's a Prenuptial. Thank's to all the Pros (Federer, FX , Judge , GravityEleven..Zozy.. just to name a few ) and aspiring Pros in here for their input. You guys have no idea how much you input can influence and change the life's of some.

And that's exactly why we need pros like them (as you mentioned) to guide and nurture newbies like us to succeed in domain investing and selling.

Congrats amigo and thanks for sharing the good news.

congrats. Care to share how it started and ended, the negotiation tactics etc? To me that is more important than the domain.

I see some atom of truth in his statement. he is never wrong if you ask me:)
Flippa lander has been doing some nice works for those who use it. There is an increase in sales through that route lately... so if you know you have a good name, use it

It wouldn't make a difference , you could use efty , sedo , DNS instead but I like it too.

Apart from that selling on flippa through auctions is a waste of money.

Selling on auction anywhere is a waste... as far as domaining is concerned. the BEST still remains waiting for an offer or seeking an end user.

Tx to All & @ jideofor,

The customer had contacted me by mail with an offer of low xxx and I countered with low xxxxx, when he started moving up I realized it was a serious buyer, but couldnโ€™t get anything from his email or name eventually the coaching, training of NamePros Black Belts Pros and a little coating from Mr. Zig Ziglar started to pay off, we started the Tango.. for some and climbing the stairs for others... Eventually we settled at mid xxxx, it was lots of cajoling with push and pulling. Then the NDA etc... Kicked inโ€ฆ Did I live $ on the table definitely ... But hey letโ€™s move on, as they say in Swahili the Road to Kilimanjaro is long... While driving those 6h keep on playing Sherpas interviews... And thinking of our good Friend Soofi who had to drive 100โ€™s of miles to deliver a DN... There you have it bro.
