Correct. This domaining business is all based on the fact that domains are exclusive and in limited supply, and therefore a high price is justified for the highest quality domains. If I own 'whisky.com' then if I want, I can be the only owner of that domain ever. It's literally like real estate.

Reporting my second sale.. both hand reg and sold within month..!!

I bought wcsitzedotnyet and contacted end user (using my own service :P).. with $1500 but buyer countered with 100 euros (124$).. So I checked some cousin domains and wcsitzdothorg was available (all other were taken with hyphen too)..
I grabbed that one and again shot offer for 200 euros for both. then we settled the deal at 150 Euros ($186)..
Still waiting for a masterstroke

Well, the domains were worthless (technically speaking) , so any sale price would be great, but the negotiation strategy you adopted wasn't good, in my opinion.

Thanks for reply.. Yup negotiation strategy wasn't good but it was worst I know, It was must for me to complete this transaction asap..

The domains are IDN's (means WC seats in german).. I don't have too much knowledge of German language and it was my first german regs..

It was always my understanding that one letter coms were not allowed/were held back by the registry. I checked a couple and X.com redirects to eBay corporate website... So they are in the market nowadays?
