Very nice, Doron. I would have passed that name up on a droplist :)

Seems there are a few indexed pages for the site, did you pick it up on a drop?
or backorder...

I had a simple developed site on it but the sale was for the domain only. The domain has been consistently registered since 1999.

Did you advertise for sale anywhere or reach out to anyone before being contacted?

Goes to show how unpredictable the domain market is. I too probably wouldn't have picked up that domain on a drop list. Congrats, I can't help to say to myself "when the fk is my xx,xxx sale coming already"

;)

Your right about that BUT what it does is give one hope...Sometimes hope is what pushes us going further!

no luck or coincidence at all behind this sale.. if you do some research you can see how highly sought after GRC jobs/careers and the matching domains are.. (GRC = Governance, Risk & Compliance).. just shows how important knowledge in a specific niche can be for us Domainers..

The buyer of RiskJobs is buying up some more high quality job search domains for his new job board on JobsInGRC dot com.. check it out

Use DV's connection and pay him brokerage for selling your Jobs name to him

No, useless.. i had a conversation with him yesterday.. not interested in co.uk names at all.. only "...jobs" or "jobsin..." dot coms with strong job fields such as legal, law, compliance, etc.. he is already in the process of obtaining "jobsincompliance dot com" from another company..

Now you've turned this thread into a "Your reg of the day" thread. Are you seriously asking if he would be interested in a name you just registered today?

This is why some folks do not report their sales. Other domainers bombard the buyer with 'wonder if you'd be interested' mails.

My intention wasn't to "turn this into a Your reg of the day thread"

I also have no intention of, and would never, email someone asking if they would be interested in buying a domain name that I just hand registered.

You and I are both here for the exact same reason, to discuss domaining in order to increase our own sales. So after reading a discussion about a high ticket niche that obviously has enduser interest, of course I registered the singular version of a keyword domain that someone has deemed valuable enough to build a 6 figure + business off of.

The same way people talk about 3d printed + keyword domains and then you registered 3dprintedbedsheets..

People that own keyword domains get bombarded with "would you be interested" emails almost daily. That's how proactive domain selling works, so it's not like the fact someone mentioned a sale has any adverse impact anyways. Hell, there's an entire sticky dedicated to just this a few posts down https://www.namepros.com/threads/how-to-find-potential-end-users.68798/ ..
