Thanks guys.

To answer the questions from pms and above: the sale was completed through GoDaddy/Afternic platform.

The sale has been reported in Godaddy's monthly sales report. It's listed in the Top 10 sales on their platform for the month of May. It placed at 9th position.

https://auctions.godaddy.com/trpmarketanalysis.aspx?ci=55877

Received offers, and inquiries in the past-from different buyers.

Godaddy/Afternic's service is fast and professional.

Source of sale?
Did you contact the endusers, or did someone pick it up from you?

Mind sharing some info? Could be of great help to the community.
Thanks.

It's interesting to know that the buyer has relisted it for sale at $35,000 with Bodis.
Seems ambitious...

Congrats on the sale! but IMO you left some money on the table

It's good deal. To those who feel he left money on the table, I would counter that it's only subjective and under probability.

Same goes for my wearablepro.com that someone from here bought via sedo and relisted for 20k or so. If you have done your part to contact end-users without success, what do you when a buyer comes your way, you turn them down?

It's not likely that these buyers would end up selling these names for as high as they have earmarked domains they purchased.

Good luck to them though, less renewal headaches!

'To sell or not to sell, that is the question'....or, 'Live by the sword, die by the sword!' Basically, every profitable sale has to be seen as a victory no matter how big or small. If we could all convert our portfolios, name by name into a profit, we'd all be financially much better off, some more than others. This year alone, I've made over $7k in sales, but also turned down $5k in offers. That's alot of money I've NOT turned into real cash, and it's annoying. But the other side of the coin is that I'm holding out for more, and if I know what I'm doing, then it should pay off in the long run. The only real concern I have with that is the fact we're up against 900 new extensions and I'm already noticing a decline in general interest towards my portfolio. I hope and look forward to more and more people posting on the Completed Sales Thread, it's by far my favourite and I'm starting to miss posting on there myself...O_o

@mp

Very true.
But, every dark cloud has a silver lining, confusion leads to chaos, that in return, invites failure.

.com has no competition except ccTld's, in my opinion.
But then too, when a business surpasses the bounds of a particular country, and takes a leap towards being a global force, it has to submit to the whims of .com.

.com is safe, it is a transitory phase, that might be raising concerns, but going to end soon. :)
