You lost out there man...i own the .org and got offers over $700 and still declined them.

Yes, it's possible, but I turned $17 to $300 in a 5-6 days.
Needed money fast :)
Wish you to sell it for much higher ammount than $700

$700 for SEOToronto . org was a great offer in my opinion. Not all keywords look good under .org especially ones tied to profits like SEO is... It's not even TorontoSEO . org...

  • 5,400 exact searches month
  • $13.27 CPC
  • 6 year old domain
  • end user actually understands the value and can quantify - all major ext taken
  • last owner was SEO company in Toronto

Sorry, that's worth more than $700

wondering how long your items were listed before they sold? Did you order a promotion for your listings. Thanks

How much did you pay for that initially? If you paid more than $20 then that would have been considered a brave buy, since the form-book says any L-L with extensions other than .com/.net should be considered reg-fee, unless you had seen a .co selling for that sort of price before as you may well have done, since I know you're very active in auction buying, backorders etc :)

How did you sell it btw?

Hand reg, low cost (GD coupon).

The buyer (an end-user, I think) queried me.

Funny--I don't have many .co domains (let alone hyphenated ones), but I had a "feeling" about this one. It kind of made sense. For a .com, I would have asked more, but I was happy with my ROI.

It looks like the buyer is putting it to good use, so it's a win-win.

This has been a nice week... Sold seven domain names in the $300-$500 range. One of them was sold by mistake on SEDO. I had not used SEDO for some time. The buyer made the minimum offer on a name that I wanted to send to auction. I wanted to start the auction at $250, but in reality sold it for $250. The name was ClassroomTablets (com). I also own TabletsForSchool.com and TabletForCollege.com.

This one was sold on SEDO today:

CarVideoReviews (dot) com - $449

The others were sold to end-users, but prefer not to disclose at this time.

Bad thing: sold via Godaddy & Sedo MLS (so minus 20%)
Good thing: paid for it $20 or something like that

This thread is so much fun to read, thought I would get involved.

Few recent sales, all .com & all hand regs.
Owned them for between few weeks to few yrs before selling.

GlasgowAccountants - $600
CarlisleAccountants - $300
SunderlandAccountants $300

GlasgowSEO - £350
DundeeSEO £100

All reg fee.
2 more sales in escrow.
UK Geo Omagh.com currently in Sedo GreatDomains auction so should be 3 more sales on the way if all goes well.

I've sold a few through him.

It's not best place to get good prices but is useful way to get things moving with little effort.

his newsletter is not really a place for enduser sales.. more like domainer to domainer sales as per my opinion :)
