Currently been sending out mass emails with the buy price and a direct link to the sale's page on sedo... I'll send you a few tips once I get back from OZ... Domaining on holiday while the wife shops.

Gifted do you do anything different when selling brandables as its not as clear from an end user point of view?

Proactive marketing is nearly impossible with these type of domains, since you have almost no idea who could be interested.
Its not like keyword domains where you can google for potential buyers or look for owners of other cheaper extensions and offer your name to them, etc.

Therefore its all the more important to chose names from which you think they could attract attention and stand out when startups/entrepeneurs look for brandable names for their projects and browse through all the possibilities or even better come up with the same idea which you had and see that the name is taken, so they have to buy it from you. Of course you also have to be lucky.
Another thing is the presentation (logo, etc.) and networking. Sites like Brandbucket do a great job in this respect.

All these names were reg fee at one point or another. All enduser sales with quick over the phone payment. I am trying to avoid escrow or any brokerage fees so I always call the enduser and try to opt for paypal or credit card over phone.
