The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

just ask sedo to push it to their godaddy account and they will probably pay you. I've done this many times when buyers are taking too long. So I just push to sedo, with their consent first of course, and get paid...

Thanks,
carob suggested the same thing so I did send a message to the rep.
I think I am dealing with a UK rep since the buyer is in Hong Kong so I may not hear back until tomorrow even though the US office is still open.

You are on another roll Federer, Congrats :tu:
Do you ever get nervous starting your auctions at $1 with no reserve?

No, the simple truth is: Great Domain Names do not need a Reserve Price.

Just sold another one (15mins ago): FocusedOnYou dot com - $2,800

Bathroom dot org - $6,500

How are you acquiring a domain like this? Via drop, or are you out contacting domain owners trying to buy direct?

Didn't know that Flippa is a good place for domains (without websites) too.
Then again, these type of names will probably sell everywhere around these prices. Sedo, Flippa, etc. doesn't matter.

Do you also contact endusers and show them the Flippa auctions so that they can participate in the auctions or do you just list the domains at Flippa and thats it?

All with .com extension

J.o.b.z.e.r $1000 (btw this one was declined by brandbucket, one week later i sold it at sedo. just saw that brandbucket accepted popzer from someone else instead LoL some decisions from them are weird, probably could have got more, but i wasn't too greedy, accepted their offer right away without offer/counteroffer or auction games..)

T.a.a.x.i $1400 (also had this one offered to brandbucket, it took more than one month and they still didn't answer whether they accept this name or not, then i sold it directly to someone and sent brandbucket an email that they should cancel this submission since i sold it already. I think they get too many submissions and don't have enough free capacities, anyway it takes too long until they decide, they should change something)

V.o.r.a.o $140

and some other xx - xxx sales...

ALL reg fee :)

currently in negotiation for Jobdia with someone.
This one is also a really cool brandable Jobs/Employment domain. Won't let it go too cheap.
(btw, this one was also declined by brandbucket few weeks ago :D)

Very nice sales Mazkel and Gifted! Thanks for going in depth about the sales process Gifted.

I too have waited more than a month only to be declined by BrandBucket. Still haven't been able to sell the domains though.

Maybe this long waiting time is also a part of their strategy. who knows ;)
But anyway, i like them. Compared to the number of domains, they make good number of sales.
Such a place must be kept kinda "exclusive" and if you want to keep it that way, you must decline most names.
They could accept 100 names daily and make 1000 dollars / day for a few weeks, but then it will be flooded with crap names like Sedo and after few weeks it will be destroyed and nobody would buy domains there.
BTW, i heard that they are going to launch a new (similar?) site soon. Forgot the name.
Don't know if it is going to be an additional site or a replacement for Brandbucket.

Just a few sales just completed

sedo buy now fixed price:

P*rnbigdata $250
s*xbigdata $250
streambigdata $350
bigdatayou $200

telematicspros $250
supertelematics $250
dreamtelematics $250

not great sales but still each domain made ROI: domains where all hand regged

Thanks for that tip FX :)

I just sold Milk Smashing on Sedo buy now for $249
Hand reg .com with .99 w/GD coupon

Repped and many thanks again! :) :) :)

Your welcome :)

I've had a few offers on the .com gallonsmashing but I'm not in any rush to sell it just yet... not fussed if I keep it in my portfolio - either way I'm happy to have it.

Good luck with your other smashing domains :)
