Good job jideofor, now take that money, reinvest it and get back to work to make more sales. :talk:

I will definitely do that. I have laready spotted another .com and will sell to my target.

Thank you everyone. This is the biggest pay I have ever made online. So sweet.

Need I say I am a Nigerian? That is what some degree holders receive as salary here in 30 days and I made that money in less than 7days!

I hope you don't use the same tone as the other Nigerian email spammers but good job .

If your buyers think you are from Nigeria they may not trust you .

Good luck on the next flip.

Nope, I never did. I just used only the things I have learnt here. That's all plus my own added tweak when I notice that the guy wasnt responding. I had to use the power of copywriting to convince him by stating why buying my domain name is the best investment. I stated over 9 SOLID reasons why he should consider buying it.

I was kidding a about the Nigerian stuff haha ...

But that's be cool to see your list and also the domain you actually sold like how other ppl post tips and sales.

If you don't want to that's fine but when someone shares something I like to hear more 99% of the time

That's a great story! congrats!

now, two important things to do:

1) do not limit yourself, specially unconsciously, to your country living standards. on a good domain it is possible to get more, much more. so if your gut tells you it could be value much more try to resist to the temptation of curbing your profits because of you living environment.

2) we live in a world of appearances and hypocrisies. being a Nigerian is not a good business card. think on hiding that fact by getting a PO Box and a phone in the US. it is easy and relatively cheap.

good luck!

Congratz on your first flip, awesome!

Frankly, it is somewhat surprising to me this worked because I stronly believe a domain should sell itself. Unless they are asking for it, I never explain an enduser why they should buy my domain. But, it doesn't matter, if it works for you then all the better :tu:

I understand your point, but I never said anything about my Nationality to the buyer.

I am not limiting myself in anyway... I have taken notes of your points. Thanks.

Yeah, true. But it worked! I actully priced it hire and seem like a rigid price for him.

I noticed that he is interested but the price seem to scare him. So I gave room for adjustment and that was how we landed on $500 bargain

The 9 reason aren't anything super, just some creative experience. Mike, you are a warrior and an internet marrketer yourself and this shouldn't be hard for you to do and understand.

This is how it works. Ask yourself, will you buy the domain name if someone offered to sell it to you? Will it serve your business brand? If yes, hwy will you want to buy it?

Once you ask that, the reasons will begin to flow out naturally and you will just structure them appropriately.

Thats all I did and nothing too complex.

I did this because I felt I had scared the buyer away with price, so it was my responsibility to bring him back on the negotiating table.

Before you start on trying to flip any domains, I would advise you to read up on what makes a good domain as much as you can - learning about domians is a gradual process, so the more you read the better your judgement should become as regards how to value domain names. Then once you own a good name, flipping it would become far easier.
