This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

Entered into an agreement to sell Finbot dot ai for $9,750 over 60 months at DAN.com. Buyer has made payment 1/60. Who knows if they'll complete the rest? Paid $434 for it in January 2019 at .ai auctions.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, it was too good to be true: five days later the buyer canceled the transaction and Dan.com refunded him his money. I contacted the buyer and he gave some explanation about discovering that many companies use the same name and he decided he couldn't use it. Now, FinBot.ai is stuck under a 60-day transfer lock at some Dutch registrar I've never heard of. 🙄

I would not post domains under the lease here before they end! But that's just me. These sales are so fragile.

I actually find these reports helpful. They show that the "lease and create regular cash flow" model might not be the panacea some users here make it to look. Especially, via the third party platforms.

If the deal is done, how can they cancel it? Why would Dan.com issue a refund?

I guess they paid for an extra year of renewal for you, that’s a horrible first experience as refunds don’t happen often, should have been treated as a default.

automated crypto /com
hand-reg in 2017 / sold in Jan '20
$2400 after inbound DAN offer & negotiations.

Sold for cheaper than I wanted, but still great ROI & one of the highest "automated" (reported) sales.

My second .co sale from the pack of 11 domains, which I bought for $11.88 (the whole pack).

It was a small counter offer game, BIN was $388. I won't plan to renew this name, it will be expired in 2 months. So I decided to get some cash flow.

Money sent.
