The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
GoDaddyGoDaddy
Domain Name: Lion//Mane in [king]
Sale Venue: Efty
Sale Type: inbound
Asking price: $1500
Sale Price: $425
Purchase/holding cost: $80 (GD expiring auction + 1 renewal)

Buyer contacted me over a year ago. Was the owner of .io name. Buyer walked away from $XXXX quote. Buyer is in Guatemala and stated that they were more concerned with making payroll.

About a year later no one else had inquired about the name so I reached back out to the buyer and negotiated the price.

Name might be worth more but this is probably my ideal buyer and had no other inquiries.

Good domain, I like it because it's "visual". A bit undersold IMO, but no worries (y)

Thanks. My thought process was that this was my ideal buyer and needed to go for it.

I also wasnt sure whether the expression is really Lion's Mane vs Lion Mane (i.e. not sure if it really is the ideal format)

Great sale! Please can you help with the background sale? I always like outbound background story.

1. Where did you find your prospect?
2. Did you include a price in your email?
3. Did you send with your Gmail or company email?
4. How many prospect did you contact and did the sale involve any followup?

Sorry for the prolonged questions. But I'll gladly appreciate if you can shed more light on this sale. Thank you

Why not ask them to write a book on it lol

Thanks for reporting your sales. But as this is "make offer," most people will love to hear the background story:

1. What was the initial offer?
2. How many back and forts?

Thanks

I would have given you more than $425 as a reseller.

"Lion Mane" is a fantastic brand IMO

It's also still listed on GD..

Appreciate the feedback. Guess I will have to take this one as a lesson. Had really shopped the name around on the secondary market and had no interest. One total inquiry. Plus I believe the true expression is "Lion's Mane"

Not sure how to remove the name at this point from GoDaddy. I don't see it in my auctions page.

Your buyer resisted it on Godaddy auction at his account.

The goodfoods really shows the dent of dot info names. So bad!
