This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

Do not post only, "great sale" or similar as this doesn't contribute to the thread. (Don't reply for the sole purpose of complimenting.)
  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
The afternic agent told me that the buyer and the seller both pay 10% commission. This is for the broker service.

I sold a 5 figure name just this way last year in September. Zero commission. Either new winds are blowing are they selectively screwed you over.

Thanks :smug:. I have sold more Domains that i bought on Auctions than Hand-reg Domains.
There is no secret here. Just research very carefully before you decide to buy/hand-reg a name. That's it.
So sorry that i can't reveal all my completed offers here due to some factors.

COngrats on the sale

Domain name: BioMedical/Waste/Services(dot)com
Domain industry: Waste
Sale venue: End User
Seller: Me
Asking price: $300
Sale price: $300
Purchase price: Reg Fee

Hi all, been a while since I closed a deal. Paypal very smooth transaction. Been a difficult couple months, lost my mom to lung cancer unexpectedly. I would always call her and tell her when I sold a domain. She couldnt believe that I could sell domains for hundreds or thousands of dollars. Everybody love your mom! So, trying to get back in the swing of things.

Domain: C/6/2/9 in come
Inbound email
Got it in closeouts summer 2016, then renewed it too this summer
Initial offer by me $145
Final price $115
After paypal fees and acquisition /renewal expenses, I got about $79 or so net.

I had received numerous offers throughout the year, but nothing more than $25 or $50. I sold it for around namejet prices I guess.

It's someone's first name initial and their full date of birth if bought for someone born in 2009 eg 6th Feb 2009
