Nice sale !
Thanks! Practically sold itself. Inbound at $1k, worked up to $7k
Congrats Ali!
BIN Sedo or Make offer with negotiation?

Thanks! Funny story, I didn't even remember adding it to Sedo. It was on Make Offer with Negotiation. They came in at $1k. I kept countering at $25k. Till they came up to $7k. I figured I could keep pushing, but why not sell... Probably the only buyer at that price for a while :)

To me it looks like VRVC.com could be short for Virtual Reality Venture Capital

VR is coming into its own and I'm sure there are a lot of angels with bags of money looking to invest.

Yup, someone else said the same thing! That is the main reason I overpaid for that domain. First thing I thought: Virtual Reality Venture Capital. And sadly, I still feel like I sold it too low... but I couldn't help myself.

No, you played it quite well. Sometimes we get too attached to the potential of a name and forget we are getting a good price....for today. Easier to spot a bad price than a good price, and since this is not a bad price, its a good price. You chose practical(good offer price today) over theoretical(future potential value) and we all need to know when its time to do that.

Very well said. You are right, I sat there for a few minutes and thought it through. Logically, they were likely the only buyer at that price in the next couple years, or perhaps ever. I could have countered at $15k and given them time to find a different name - but like you said, it was a great price for today, and I can always re-invest the profits for tomorrow.

Every domainer needs to learn to know when to hold and when to fold. I think you made the right decision, I have seen people walk away from deals because the other party pushed too hard, this time around it is not about money left on the table but a great ROI and more money to invest with.

Good sale Ali!

Don't like to post exact domains so my buyers don't get harassed with more offers.
Let go of a 4 letter .com in the form of (VCCC) for $500 on January 1st.
Bought it couple years ago for low xx
The lowest value sale I've done in years but ROI was there and wanted to start 2016 on a good note.
