This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

Do not post only, "great sale" or similar as this doesn't contribute to the thread. (Don't reply for the sole purpose of complimenting.)
  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

I purchased only 1 homepage feature for this sale as I was anticipating a low $xxx end price. I only buy premium upgrades if a domain is worth $1000+

A/d/u/l/t/c/m/s com - $400 - Acquired via GD closeouts. Lead generated through a second round of outbound marketing.

Here's a chestnut for everyone who simply looks up whois info and sends mails. If it's a relatively large outfit, don't bother wasting your time sending mails to the whois contact. Sure sometimes it works, but you want to ensure the right person reads your mail.

I contacted this end user 2 months ago via whois and my mail was ignored, then I thought hold on, they HAVE to be interested in it. So I went and did some digging and found the guy at the top of the food chain. The deal was agreed within 10 minutes of chatting on Skype.

I bought this name about one week ago at GD auctions for $XXX, and got several offers in short time. I decided to sell domain for $2000.
It was a quick flip :)
