I bought a lot of domains form Mijndomeins last November during a sale around the 25th. I think many on this forum did that also. I thought to ask them today how renewals work and they reminded me (I had forgotten or not read the T's and C's in the first place) that domains there are automatically renewed, dot coms cost 18.48 Euros!
You can't turn auto-renew off from the control panel and need to cancel your domain (via the panel) at least a month before they expire. I suspect many people may be caught out like this. They also charge 5 Euros +VAT if a transfer code supplied by them is used, though they don't charge for supplying it.
