Hello I have a question, what can I do when the registrar is not fixing its whois for my Domain Name? It does not show up correctly as I am the domain owner but some company call "Namefind".

The registrar is Domainmonster, contacted them for a month, they say working on it, it is fixed. But still isn't fixed. I can't do anything, contacted ICANN they say work with the registar.

BTW Domainmonster.com is part of reg123UK, is an umbrella to some Domainbox company in Europe, which is sold to Goddaddy. I contacted someone at Goddaddy on this forum, but that person say they do not have contacts with Domainmonster, contacted reg123 they say the same thing. Domainmonster say (support) that they fixed it, but it is not.

What else can I do? Since my domain can't be transfered, whois is incorrect, etc., BTW I renewed it successfully it will expire in July 2018. The problem with the registrar began months before. I am wondering if they even exist or just some outsource support from India.

I used to be with domainmonster until they merged with 123-reg and I don't remember ever having such an issue.

Just a suggestion which I'm not sure if it will even work:
as far as I remember, they had a button called 'internal transfer'.

What if you create another account and send your domain to that account?
When you accept the domain on your other account there is a chance that you will be eligible to change the details on the domain name.

It's it showing Namefind I am wondering if your name didn't expire and was handed over to their 'partner'.
It could be a glitch that the name still shows up in your control panel even though it's out of your reach but I hope not.
I think Domainmonster is OK but 123-reg has always been a terrible outfit.

There was a recent thread about someone having problems with Domainmonster after their sale. You might also consider transferring your domains out of domainmonster

Domainmonster replied that it was not handed over, the premium action was cancelled. I think they meant "premium action" in as about to hand over to Namefind whoever it is. The name was successfully renewed a month ago (actually more than a month ago), name still in my account. I was charged for the "redemption" cost.

They first say they are fixing it, and then it is fixed but it is not. I emailed them many times. Still in the account, I still control the DNS I think (haven't checked that).

What else can I do? Basically there's no direct contact other than customer support, who are very slow to answer anything, and haven't done anything to fix it yet other than sending a few emails say working on it, it is fixed, please wait 15 minutes while it updates...but its not fixed. I emailed them back no response yet.

How does a situation like this happens when it is successful renewed, charged, acknowledged, still in my account ? . BTW I sent an email to Namefind but no reply.

I want to transfer out, but the registrant email and contact is with Namefind, the new registrar Namesilo say I must fix the whois or Namefind must accept. I can't contact anyone! Dam Goddady Europe division!

Hypersot- Domainmonster is now closed to new customers. Cannot create a second account.
anantj- I tried to transfer out, but the whois information is with Namefind. Undoable!

hmm.. I totally forgot about that

I could offer you to transfer the domain to my account (which I don't use anymore) and then I could initiate the transfer to anywhere you want but there are trust issues in that offer I guess.

If you believe you're ok with that, pm me and we can try that out. I just hope I will be able to change the ownership or else we'll be back at square one.

Thanks Hypersot, but that will be the last option. Since I am just waiting for them to sort out their system. I would not want to mess with Goddady, really. I mean, I like to transfer out of their system. :) not stay in the system back and forth and having problems down the road.

I replied back, I want to transfer out, I want my whois to be in my detail. I don't know what is going on. What else can I do if they are holding it hostage?

Apart from the Owner Whois, did you try to add/update Administrative Contact - Admin Contact Email so you can use a different email and receive your auth code. Keep in mind; the rules of redemption are different for every registrar. Could be 30 days Lock in the game.

Its renewed already more than a month ago, credit card charges, invoices done. Acknowledged, renewed, I was told premium option removed a long time ago. Now its "on premium" don't really know what to say.
