Registrar Recommendations Needed! Moving Hundreds of Domains out of Enom

I have had a large percentage of my portfolio at Enom for over 15 years and had always been happy with the pricing and support.

Unfortunately their support has been non-existant with tickets sitting unanswered for weeks at a time. Also their domain push no longer works. And domain transfer emails and approvals also don't work.

This makes transfers and sales very difficult. So its time to move to a well-supported registrar with easy to use interface with free domain features including DNS.

I currently have large accounts with Godaddy and Dotster which are just OK but both have drawbacks.

I am thinking about moving from Enom to Uniregistry, Namesilo or Dynadot and would like to hear thoughts from fellow domain sellers.

Thanks!

My thoughts:

GoDaddy - Great support if you have an account rep. Downside is their UI when dealing in bulk and that you have to buy into the discount domain club for $8.XX renewals. (paid privacy)

Uniregistry - Great UI. Haven't had any issues with support or pricing. (free privacy) Talk to a rep before you switch to see what transfer deals they can offer.

Namesilo - No issues. (free privacy)

Dynadot - not much experience, but no issues as of yet. (only have a handful of domains with them)

I've used Uniregistry and no issues but I tend to keep 99% of mine with GoDaddy.com & my GoDaddy reseller account http://www.BuyMyUrls.com I have an old school enom reseller account as well. Think this decision is based on 24/7 phone support, dedicated account rep and the premium listing capability as nobody else has the eyeballs on their site based on all the television advertising they do. Most end users have heard of GoDaddy as well due to this advertising which removes some of the fear when doing transactions. So depends on your priority if whois privacy is needed then your looking at certain registrars, if lowest price is priority then your looking at others, if sales is your priority like me then I stick with what the majority of end users use.

I have transferred most of my domains to Epik because they give Namepros members "at cost" prices on domain registrations, transfers and renewals. (All are only $8.10 on .com which even includes the ICANN fee). That is so much better than having to worry about finding promo codes all the time or paying to belong to a discount club to avoid paying higher renewal fees.

You can also set up your own private marketplace and sell or lease your domains at Epik for between 0% to 5% commission. Compare that to all the other marketplaces. And I love the fact that only my domains are visible when I direct a potential buyer to my marketplace. It has a search function, but only my domains will show up!

Epik or Namesilo (I do like Epik's interface better) - both have top notch support and are among the cheaper options.
