I just tried to transfer 2 domains to registerfly. One went through but the other that expires on the 24th of this month didnt. They charged me for both transfers. I sent in a support ticket on this and was just wondering if anyone else had this happen and if so how did it go?

I haven't transferred a domain yet to RegFly, but if you want fast response, your best bet is to PM the user regfly here, he will help you with your problem. So far my experience with the support ticketing system there was awful (um, actually no response at all), but regfly here has been very helpful. :)

.

I had this happen. They charged my card multiple times, once, for many transactions. They would not reply to my billing requests to remove these additional, unauthorized charges. After 4 weeks, I got fed up. As a result, I had to dispute the charges with my credit card company as time wsa running out.

Once the chargeback went through, they locked my account and transferred ownership of all my domains to various people and departments at RF(I lost all the domains in my account).

Bottom line, tread very carefully at this point. When you finally get your money back, stop using RF.

Oh, and one more thing, after going through all this, I called my CC comapany again ad told them what happened. It was then that I found out that for things like domain regs, where you basically are renting something for a year, you have 6 months, not just 60 days, to dispute a charge. As such, I was able to do a chargeback for every domain I regged with them within the 6 months prior to my calling the CC comapny. So I got some money back for the domains they took from my account tha tthey froze.

Normally, you have to wait until the other registrar approves the transfer, or you confirm the email. If the losing registrar approves quickly, it's smooth. Sometimes they drag their feet until you can't transfer due to their or ICANN's policy. I've always gotten automatic refunds to my RF account after it was confirmed the transfer failed.

The one failed when I was on the RF site and it tried to send the transfer request.

I told it the 2 domains, paid, clicked the button and it then tried to send the requests, 1 failed and the other sent the request. I only got one email asking me to approve the transfer.

I just tried to change the nameservers on the domain that failed and it says theres an error because its being transfered. When I log into RF it shows only the one domain as being transfered in...

I hope your problem will be solved fast.
