I've just received a newsletter from Registerfly with their current offers and promos. :lala: I thought they were closed down!

How safe is registering or transferring names to them now? (I'm asking this since I have around $10 on my Regfly account).

Anyone has any domains there (after the GD grand transfer)? And if yes, have things changed a bit?

Dead man walking... of course they should be avoided :D
Don't look back. But I just can't wait for the class action.

PS: if you have $$ left try to register one domain. Last time I tried it didn't work.

Yep. I read a couple of stories that domains still weren't getting registered. What do they say over at registerflies? Why don't you ask support first if registrations are working? If they say yes, then go for it.

They're still a web hosting company, mind you.

Registerfly.com

Registerfly.com is back to business as usual........ trying to make money by being thieves!
I bought some hosting for an India domain, probably 2 years ago. I stopped long before their famous end.... I haven't owned the domain in almsot 2 years.
So what do I get in the mail in the past couple of weeks? Yup, an email telling me they are trying to bill me for hosting for that same domain. Before their ship sank the first time, I notified more than once, twice, three times... who knows how many times, THAT I NO LONGER WANTED THEIR HOSTING.
Thank God I deleted all my credit card info.... rotten stinking thieves..... I stop there before I really get to cussing.... :'(

I had a name hosted for 3 months back three or four years ago. Deleted the hosting, and sold the name at that time. I get an email every few months trying to bill me for back charges and another quarter of hosting... :bah:
