Need to vent...........
I initiated a transfer for a few hundred or so names from name.com to registerfly.com ($3.99) special and after 10 days about 40 transfers got cancelled and my account got credited.
I initiated transfers then to moniker.com and godaddy.com of the remaining names after a short amount of time.. maybe a week? these transfers came back as prohibited so I run a whois and find they are showing registerfly as the registrar
I check my account but the domains aren't there
I contact regfly (by phone) and am told these transfers were cancelled but to put a support ticket in... waiting a week now for a reply I get
Dear client ,

What is the exact issue you are experiencing with these domains?

Best Regards,
REGFLY Where the Hell are my domains??

I'm attempting to transfer my last domain out of Regfly ATM to another Registrar ....

It's been going on since Oct 5th ;) - Thats 18 days for something I'm used to doing in 4 or 5 days at most so far ... I used to actually try to stand up for Regfly a little - But their system is just one big Snafu IMO now ...

I've been domaining for just a few months now, and I have to say that RegFly are by far the most complained about registrar that I've heard of so far!

The way to go is of course OUT of regfly and not IN...
Saying that I have had no problems to transfer away from them.
I'm not sure what you've done but a transfer may not be initiated on a domain if there is already a transfer pending for that name (the domain is flagged with that status).
If names are missing from your account they should be able to locate them and put them back.

If you ever find them, would you let me know where? Some of mine are probably in there too. I think Regfly is the domain equivalent of the bermuda triangle.

 And Galcomm would be a black hole in space. Or perhaps like staring into the sun.

What the...?

I just transferred one out to registerdub (directi reseller), it took ~24-36 hours to get the transfer email from Regfly and then after I accepted it the domain was transferred in ~4 hours.

I couldn't believe it! They must have some really weird glitches in their system. I'm glad I'm out of there.

well support put about half of them in my account sofar but I can't renew/modify or do any thing with them..basically in my account but no control..another support ticket update sent...
BTW RegFly (Paul V) whom I've come to contact when issues arise at regfly and seems to expedite resolving these issues doesn't seem to be as active on the board as in the past.. last on 10/15

Maybe he's starting to feel the pain of his own employer....

I had two domains I wanted to renew there, but decided to let them drop instead of risking a hassle of buggy paypal support, missing domains, and outsourced support. I recently put registerfly's newsletters in my spam filter, as I don't want to be influenced by their ostenisbly low prices, only to find out they cause more pain than gain :td:
