6 hours ago, I found Regfly got a superinfo promotion and decided to get some of info from them.

I chose paypal as my payment method - and then I go thru the payment process just like godaddy & domainsite do. But after payment, regfly redirects me back to "Choose a payment option" page.

Yeah, you guessed it. The order was not processed, moreover the payment was not credited to my account.

I submitted a ticket to them for where did my payment go, here is their response to me: (only the name of responder removed, other parts are not altered)

Hello,

Please allow 4 busness for transaction done from papal to reflect in your Registerfly account.

Thank You.

busness? 4 busness what?
I do not know why they have to take 4 busness whatever to process paypal payments, while I have a verified paypal account.

Oh hell I will go back to domainsite/godaddy instead.

Attached the screenshot of my regfly ticket.

I had similar situation that the paypal was paid but the domain was not processed. I submited a ticket, they said it was processing OK. However when I called, they said it was not processed. So I think you never trust their ticket system, always make a call.

Yeah, I decided to call them from Hong Kong.
After some retries, they finally picked up my phone and asked
"Are you an international user?"
and I answered yes, and they kept me waited for around 20 minutes and then tell me to call them later because they are busy.

What's wrong with international user again? Do they think non-US customers are not worthy?

Damn it. I want to initiate disrupt payment process at paypal.

:o Was that english? I'm sure it is since I recognize words here and there but wow. And as for the response not being altered c'mon. I sincerely doubt RegFly would respond with that disaster of a sentance. Business is spelled wrong, so is Paypal, and forget about the punctuation. Sheesh. I'm surprised they understood you.

I registered a few cheap .info's with them (against my better judgement) and have never went back since. I had the same problem where I paid by paypal and was not credited. I then sent tickets back and forth. I finally managed to get credited and have a couple of the domains registered in my account. However a couple of the other ones that I registered with the paypal funds have been registered by someone else meaning I have now missed out on them. Trust me, it is not worth taking the cheaper option. It will cause much more stress and losses in the future! :'(

I remember when registerfly first tried offering paypal. Basicly, you had to send a support ticket saying you wanted to add X funds via paypal. Then the ticket would be answered saying "Funds have been added. Thank you." and they never gave me anywhere to send the money to. Then, they disabled my account and domains due to fraud. :\

And the dog and pony show continues at RegFly....
Had 400+ names there 3 years ago......now all transferred out but 2....
Life Is Good without RegisterFly...I have so much time to do business now that I'm not trying to get them to provide even basic services.

I am pretty sure they could be sued for misrepresentation for even HAVING a support button on their website.... :td:

I don't know why international user is any different. I used a vonage phone that has a US number. So he thought I called from US.

I wish Registerfly gets bought out by another registrar and moves all the domains to a control panel that WORKS....

This will save me a whole lot of my time and headache....
