Regarding archive.org: is it me? Or...

...am I not able to see any sites archived since the start of 2005?

I checked another domain name using it today because they had another web
site makeover. But archive says the last time the domain had such was over
November last year.

This is about the 5th or 6th domain I've seen this. It's probably me or maybe
those domain owners requested archive to remove their content for 2005.

Beats the heck out of me.

If i get it the domains you see don't have 2005 archive? Right?
But i can see the 2005, for example check http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.google.com you see? there are 10 pages in 2005

I've noticed the same thing. Nearly all sites I check do not have data listed for 2005. I just assumed there was some "processing time" it takes Archive to add the pages.

their crawler is not running anymore, at least I dont remember to see him in logs this year
