Hi,
I received an offer for the domain holdemPokerHall.biz , they asked me my price....
Actually I don't know why they didn't ask the price for holdemPokerHall.com and I don't know how much to ask for the domain they requested...
Any help is appreciated.

Honestly, this domain would be lucky to sell for reg fee. From what you've told me, it sounds like your typical appraisal scammer.

Was the email something like this:

Hello,

Please email me price for the name mentioned in the subject line.

(First possible hint of this scam: sender does not mention the domain name inside the email, but refers to the subject line)

If you have other domain names for sale please send us the complete list with prices for consideration.

I'm a very busy person so it may take several hours before I respond

Our company develops software. By the way, investing in domain names is not the main direction of our investing strategy but a good way to generate additional income.

They are trying to get you to pay for an appraisal from a site they own or are affiliated with. See this site for more info: http://www.domainappraisalscam.com/page.cfm/id/14655

I didn't receive any other reply to the email, googling showed me that it's a scam for sure.
