domain Received an offer for 2k. Please appraise!

Hello!

I just received an offer for $2k on the domain name une_o(dot)org. Should I sell it for this price or do you think I can ask him for more? He doesnt sound like an end user. He just said he is buying a few good names and that his budget was 2k per name.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :hearts:

I also say take it, it's a good price, unless you have plans to develop it, and even then you should ask yourself wheter you can sell this one for some cash flow, and develop another one.

UNE is the acronym for University of New England. There's one in Australia and another
one in Maine,USA.
It's also a French word meaning "a" as in a chair (une chaise). But I doubt the buyer has this in mind. More likely the first.

Thank you all for the responses. What do you know, he wants to do it only in one or two weeks. Maybe its just a scammer :td: Oh well let me just wait for 2weeks and see. He told me that he would contact in two weeks only after I told him that I want to use escrow.com

watch out for the old "I need an appraisal and I only trust _____ appraisal service." It's a scam to get you to purchase a $70 (or more) appraisal that the scammer gets paid for and then they never sell the domain.

Whatever you do don't accept payment through PayPal or any similar service. For a $x,xxx sale always use an Escrow service. It seems like you know this already but I'm just making sure.
