Hi,
I received an offer of EUR 1400 for my domain KICK.IT (kick it!) which was parked on SEDO.
I need a quick advice, if it's worth selling it at this price, considering it's just an investment domain with no development planned.

Thanks

I'd take the money & run... :)

If you don't have any plans for further development - take the money.

If you have time and money to invest in development you can create something like footytube.com and sell it for more.

If you are not desperate for that money, ask for more, or wait for better offer. My opinion

As you've listed it for sale with a 1600EUR price tag; I'd say it would be fair to sell it. I think it's proper that sellers honor their listed prices during the negotiations process. Otherwise you waste the buyers time and give wrong information.
You can counter with 1600eur though and get the price up a little...

honestly it was put for sale something like 4 or 5 years ago and then forgot.
I don't have plans of developing it, but yes (for Volf), I wouldn't consider raising the price as it wouldn't be loyal towards the potential buyer.

I am just wondering if it's worth selling it now for this price, as I lost a bit the sight of the domain business and its value might have changed in the last years.

You got an offer near your listed price & have no plans for it. I'd sell & take what I assume is a substantial profit & call it a day. Good luck!

Take the money and Run!

While it is a nice Hack, that is the only value I see in it.

Good Luck and Congrats!

Sell it.
It has a value only as hack, as .it has no value, and 1400 for an hack like that seem something you can't refuse.

I'd send it to auction and pay for featured listing...

In the words of Ralph Bellamy in the final minutes of the movie "Trading Places" - sell, sell sell!

Great offer, and Congrats!!

Honestly, you have essentially answered your own question, which should be to accept the more than fair offer. Your post reads that you listed the name 4-5 years ago then forgot about it, proving there is not much to the hack to begin with. If this is the only offer you have received in that time you have to consider how long it may be before you get another offer, if ever. Let alone an offer so close to your asking price. :imho:
