I own the domain "p okeralive.com"

A guy emailed me if he could buy it.. a summery of that:

Guy: Hi, can i buy your domain?
I: Yes, make a offer please
Guy: $ 200 - $ 250
I: Sorry, Won't let it go for 675 EUR
Guy: I understand, my offer is now 550 EUR

What should i do.. the guy registered the .net already (same day he contacted me)

i need some advice on this one..

I would sell it for that price, all you can win is another 100euros, on the other hand you can lose 550.

I'm not sure of the conversions, but it seems that in IMO, you should go ahead and sell.

I'd sell at 550, seems a good compromise, and you're not likely to get much more than this for some time imo

Looking at the whois on the .net and then going to Inetopia.de (in the whois), it looks as if they help develop gaming platforms for customers. My german is bad, but a quick babelfish translation seems to say this.

So they are probably trying to acquire a name for a customer that wants either just a good poker name or yours specifically. Since they already bought the .net, it's probably the latter.

That's the bummer about this whole business. You just never know who you're dealing with, and it pays to research.

Since you've already stated 675, I would try one more time to get a little closer to that and then sell.

i did counter with 600.. and he said that was to much for this domain name.. he said his offer of 550 was to high either.. and he said 500 was his last offer

I would take the offer. That is a nice profit to be made and as already said, you have 100 to gain but 500 to loose ...

I still didnt sell it, the guy emailed me that he has more time needed to build the site. and he did contact me a bit early he said.

I parked it yesterday on sedo, to check the real uniques.. 30 so far (1day)

Hope this will be a sale soon..

If he's building a .net website, your .com will be the spillover beneficiary of it. You may then be able to sell the name higher at a multiple of ppc rev. I'd consider that before letting it go too low.

hmm well if he devolops .net and you are sure about it dont sell...but if he diggs for another name then you will loose a lot...well id say dont rick it its a good amount for this name sell it
