I raised the price of several domain names at Afternic yesterday. These are names that show a BIN lander, and are registered at Godaddy. Today, I checked the lander and it still shows the old price. Then I went to Godaddy.com and did a domain name search of the full domain name. It came up as for sale with the old price. I thought, maybe it would not let someone buy it at the old price, so I tested it by putting it in my cart. It took it at the old price!
I looking in my Afternic portfolio and the new, higher prices are set correctly. @GoDaddy, why is both the lander and the reg path registration not showing the new price that has been set for 24 hours? Can someone really get away with buying it at my old price?
If someone were to buy it at my old price, I can only imagine the trouble I'd have with Afternic/Godaddy trying to prove I had it listed at the new, higher price, and to get my domain name back.
