Today when i opened one of my domain which uses Afternic nameserver, it opened this new designer landing page, initially i just panicked thinking whether this domain dropped and someone catched it, but it seems Afternic redesign the lander, what you guys think about this new lander? I felt the old one very archaic and not user friendly, this one cool clean and in single glance one can identify this domain is for sale. I felt anything better than the old one. what about you?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I've encountered a few of the 'new' landers researching names and thus far none are displaying any use of camel case. If the ability to change capitalization is not available, I will not be using the 'new' landers.

And we need to have Complete and Accurate stats provided for those landers plus a place to put our own Google Analytics code.

Godaddy should not be maximizing their own profits anymore by keeping us in the dark.

IMO

It's about time, afternic needed some attention.

Thank you.

testing going well, planning April launch

You need to create a sales platform that strikes a balance between the interests and needs of the domaining community and that of the end users and also that of Godaddy itself (if you are going to be a domainer when it comes to selling your own domains).

I will anxiously and optimistically wait to see if you can achieve that balance or not. You need to make sure that greed, personal ideologies, and agendas don't get in the way of things as there might not be any second chances after this.

Everyone still happy with the new landers?

And here's how GD will be making money fast now with the new fees at Dan.

True that.

It will also be interesting to see the effect on Sedo, Efty, and other marketplaces, because of this: "25% commission for domains sold that are not pointed to nameservers at Dan, Afternic, or Uniregistry".

Yep, that's another power move.

Great data. And now you can see the reason why GoDaddy bought DAN! More people moved to DAN landers and presumably taking away business from GoDaddy. It didn't take them long for them to shred DAN's lowest priced commission model.
