Quick question about GoDaddy's TDNAM

I'm a godaddy user. I've backordered a domain name , that's registered under another company , using Godaddy's backorder service.

Will they send the name for auction in TDNAM when they capture it (or just before it expires)?? I've heard terrifying stories about TDNAM , and i wouldn't want to pay for someone to put the name i want for auction.

If the name is registered anywhere but GoDaddy, you are fine, and the drop procedure will take place as normal. If they catch it, it's yours. Only domains registered at GoDaddy go to the TDNAM auctions.

I've caught several great names this past week with GoDaddy, in fact.

I want to add....

As one of the early critic's of TDNAM, I must give them some credit today. The "won" auction names are rolling in more regularly now, the refunds started to flow, and most people are breathing a sigh of relief. So...the wait is long, and the names might possibly get renewed (leaving your money in limbo waiting for refund), but there are some fantastic bargains to be had if you can get thru those first two obstacles. It's a silver mine, but know in advance that it takes a decent amount of mining to reach the treasure.
