Thanks in advance!

1. Did you see increased revenue?

2. Which general types of sites did best (high OTV sites, etc)?

3. Which categories did best (gambling, etc.)?

Also, anyone apply for adsense after joining whypark using a whypark site as the main URL in the application?

Thanks

Not sure about the answers to 1-3, since I only started this whole domain thing a few days ago, but I applied for adsense after joining whypark and creating anybadcredit.com and I was accepted.

Thanks - I'm glad to hear that. (And your name has nice potential, so I wish you luck). Rep given.

Thanks buddy and thanks for the rep. I also just created AnyLemonLaw.com on whypark as well. Not finished with it yet, I want to make it look a little different than anybadcredit.com

I increased revenue, From domain parking , By 300% a day

My Real Estate site does the best, Followed by my deleted domain name site.

Real Estate
Domain Name
Contextual Advertising
Free Stuff

Adsense blows! LOL

There are far better publishers

So you use whypark with a ad generator other than adsense? Which ones...just Revenue Pilot? Sorry if I seem new to this.

Wow, that's amazing. My whypark sites are just now starting to get indexed, I hope I start to see some action. My blog (which i put a little effort in) seem to be getting the most traffic, so I just installed adsense injection...maybe I'll make a little coin from my blog :)

Since were on the WhyPark topic

I hope this isn't hijacking the thread (not my intention)

However I've been considering WhyPark bigtime. To me it seems to make more sense to have your domains sitting on a search engine friendly page that gets indexed rather than sit on a parked page which is rejected by most search engines.

But I'm just curious to how many domains are needed to be parked on whypark to "safely" say you'll generated enough revenue to even cover the 99.00 fee.

I know a lot of it depends on the quality of your domain(s) .. but I'm just asking for a general perspective on this.

Thanks

I covered the 99.95 fee in less than a week there.

Is it a bad idea to make a site with both adsense and RevenuePilot ads on it? For instance I just added a RevenuePilot ad midway down the landing page on AnyBadCredit.com If I should only be sticking with one ad program per site, I will remove it. Thanks, appreciate the feedback!

Absolutely a bad idea, And will get your account closed by both, You can use "inlink advertising" such as Kontera.com , But you can't have two pulishers ad boxes on the same site. And check the TOS per ad publisher, to make sure you can use inlink advertising, Most have no problem with it though.

Thanks a ton! I just removed the code. It was up for less than 30 mins, so I think I'm okay. I appreciate the prompt response. I'm still a newbie, with a lot to learn.

I applied for adsense recently using a whypark site as the main URL in the application.
I'm beggining to notice an increase in traffic. I still need quite a bit of work to do like directory submission, and changing the page layouts.

Regards

It is amazing to see so many whypark users now. When I started out, I was probably the only one to have joined WP. :)

Answers to your questions :

Yes, definitely I have seen and still see a steady stream of revenue each month.

There is no definite category of sites that do well. It depends on your keyword competition, domain name, your content and other factors.

Same for the 3rd question. Your categories too would depend on the same factors mentioned above. I mean, even if you had a tough category like debt consolidation, if you did some research and found the right keywords with lesser or no competition and wrote 1-2 keyword rich articles, you could start seeing some traffic pour in. There is some effort required.

I had applied using my domain parking site and got approved by adsense.

I see that most guys prefer the [related] content appearing on their whypark sites. However, I kind of feel, it totally spoils the look of the page. Sometimes the related articles extend far more than the main content. Thats why I prefer just taking off the [related] placeholder.

Varon - thanks very much for that thoughtful and knowlegable answer - I really appreciate it! Rep will be added.

Last 2 questions - and its for the "jackpot" - I'll use your affiliate link to join:

1. Have you been able to generate fair to good revenue with whypark with relatively good names that never received traffic when just parked?

2. Have you been able to generate good revenue on other extensions (.us, .net, .co.uk., etc.)? Does it seem to matter much?
