I would like to know why certain domains such as math.info and lawyers.biz do not appear in the high priced categories but others, which are clearly not close too that amount get posted.

I recommend having more than one mod serve as the deciding factor as it does not appear the best judgement is being exercised in my opinion.

The High Priced Domains forum showcases a select number of names, and does not feature every name that could possibly sell for more than $1000.

Values are subjective, especially with .BIZ (the Rodney Dangerfield of TLDs). The moderators we have selected for that area are experienced domainers, but may not necessarily share your same method of valuation.

A group moderation effort was tried originally, but we found the section to be getting full of names that shouldn't make the cut. The new method is exclusionary but fair and results in more exposure to the names that do make it.

Thank you for the suggestion.

I've sometimes wondered, in addition to the current Moderatorโ„ข domain name screening process, that if there was an actual, fixed, non-refundable NP$ cost (TBD) involved in submitting names to the High Priced section(s) ... that this may help to further inherently screen and limit submissions to those truly worthy, IMHO. :gl:

Just my two sense,
Jeff B-)
