.mobi Question about Premium Names

Just wondering if/when premium names such as blue.mobi will be sold/auctioned?

I was curious as I was researching names to register and came across a few of these.

The registrar will be accepting applications for the premium domain names

Here is a link regarding the process and the names they are currently accepting applications for:

The first set of names was auctioned off and they may auction more in the future, "The T.R.A.F.F.I.C auction was successful and dotMobi may conduct similar events in the future."

Yes, but why won't the registry expedite these premium mobi auctions -- 4 at a time every few months? Too much delay. We need to get these premium mobis developed.

They will do it carefully with the first few names to gain some experience on the process, the contractual terms, marketing methods/ideas, etc. After that they will move faster (I think).
So far the folks at mTLD have done an excellent job. However they will need to continue moving at an "appropriate" speed, and keep an eye watching what's going on in the market. The timing is right for .mobi now. After one or two years it may be too late.
