Prounounceable LLLL.com?

Does anyone own an Unpronounceable LLLL.com? 90% of all posts/for sale threads cite theirs as being pronounceable yet have to explain that "XQ" should be pronounced as "Jeff" Am I missing something here? What percentage of LLLL.coms are actually pronounceable?? 10% 20%?

I do. In fact, more than 80% of my LLLL .com are UNpronounceable. I dont own many btw.
I just cant successfully pronounce something like: a o u q

.... yet have to explain that "XQ" should be pronounced as "Jeff"

I do depend on such inspiration to reg. more names lol

Yea, I guess most of them are unpronounceable however I just register them because they are quicker for me to type in even though I cannot pronounce them the abbreviations are quick to remember.

Much less than 1%.
To me pronouncable means that when you hear it on the radio you immediately know how to spell it. I hear that SEDO bought it's name for $50,000 several years ago. That is a true pronouncable that an end user paid big for.

Just because domainers convince themselves of something, don't make it so.

There are meant ones that are easy to pronounce - and even many of the lower-end CVCV and VCVC.com domains are pretty tricky to pronounce.

The best pronounceable names IMO are those that have the fewest possible alternate spellings. SEDO is an excellent example, but even that could be spelt seddo, sedoh, sedoe, sedow, said oh etc. Whilst SEDO owns seedo.com, seddo.com is parked :hehe:

Quite often, threads promising premium pronounceable names are unpronounceable and with bad letters...

Probably somewhere between 10-20%. It's a matter of vowels.

It can't be pronounced as a word, only ex-en-tee-ay.

when we ask if a LLLL.com is pronounceable or not it is regarding to english but i think that in many other languages some LLLL r really pronounceable even when it doesnt seem to make any sense at all

besides, it can be dificult for people that dont have english as their mother language understand why it isnt pronounceable in english and as domaining has people from many many countries maybe the value of some LLLL that could be something like high $xx - low $xxx can eventually be sold for high $xxx - low $x,xxx

you can try snap or TDNAM ... in snapnames the initial bid is generally $60

As if. The poll says 10-20% are pronouncable and those are not in the top 20% of 4 char domains.
