Yes I know yet another official thread. I only wrote the word official becuase I knew most everybody would take a look. On the board there seems to be alot of arguing back and forth between LLLL.com lovers and LLLL.com haters. I for one believe that the names are not a gold mine but that is just my opinion. Conversation is great but arguing is bad :imho: Me telling someone that owns 500 LLLL.com names, that I dont think they are a good investment is not going to change anything and that person should not care. But the constant arguing about this LLLL.com and that LLLL.com seems a bit childish. For those that own the names, I wish you the very best of luck simply becuase I think that if they do turn out to be something worthwhile it will help us domainers as a whole. For those who think they are worth nothing, it is alright to say and think so, but lets keep the arguing down.
I think it will help make this a better board if we stop arguing about names, and rather, have intelligent conversations about them.

My 2 cents :)

To all those LLLL.com haters I too agree with you. They are just waste and not worth at all. As a christmas gesture i am planning to help you guys get rid of them and take loses. so i will pay $10 for ANY LLLL.com so that you dont get any loses. and $2 Profit.

OK, if this is the no arguing thread, then why would you use LLLL’s as an example knowing (and you say you knew it was coming) as your example. To some, this might come across as troll baiting; at least that’s how the stage seems set to me, just an observation.

To me arguing is a good thing; as long as there are no insults, it’s healthy. When arguments turn to personal insults, well then you can see who clearly lost the argument. So I say long live those with the intestinal fortitude to argue, arguing inspires thought.

So I guess I disagree with your original posting.

To this reader it appears the OP feels there is only one opinion. But then ..... this is just MY opinion.

I stated very clearly that I am not a fan of these names. So yes my opinion would be against them......I dont understand your point there. But nice try

very nice said KingDon

as KingDon said the only problem is insult; it has never happened to me before and people were always very polite replying my threads/posts

the point is that LLLL.com is not a speculation as it was 2 or 3 years ago... LLLL.com is a fact because if you buy a name for reg fee and you sell it 2, 3 or 4 months later for at least 2x reg fee, come on people, it is 100% ROI and dont tell me it isnt fine cause it is; you can say 100% ROI isnt fine if you have never had such profit i mean if you had at least 300% ROI in all your names you can say it isnt

i would like people say LLLL.com wont be successful to look at what is happening (read thread, watch sales, etc)... there is speculation as there is in the entire industry but be reasonable to see LLLL.com as a niche that came to stay

There is money to be made with everything. To whoever invested in the LLLL.coms good for you and i hope you do well. To whoever did not invest in LLLL.coms and think they are useless hope you do well with whatever investment you choose to apply your money to.

The past return on these names over the past 2 months is irrelevant now. For the average domainer you can not get these names at reg fee. I think it is important to realize that we are now talking about the future of LLLL.com not the past 2 months. Someone could be against holding LLLL.com names now and still made 300% returns from them over the past 3 months. I would not dismiss everyone who is against LLLL.com as simple "People who didn't get in and are now bitter."

Bricio-I have never seen an insult as result of arguing about these names either. However I made this thread becuase to me it is not very professional of the members of the forum to continually argue back and forth when we get absolutely no where with it.

LOL! (some) domainers like to argue ... go figure.

Man: I came here for a good argument.

Mr Vibrating: No you didn't; no, you came here for an argument.

Man: An argument isn't just contradiction.

Mr Vibrating: It can be.

Man: No it can't. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition.

Mr Vibrating: No it isn't.

Man: Yes it is! It's not just contradiction.

Mr Vibrating: Look, if I argue with you, I must take up a contrary position.

Man: Yes, but that's not just saying 'No it isn't.'

Mr Vibrating: Yes it is!

Man: No it isn't!

Man: Argument is an intellectual process. Contradiction is just the automatic gainsaying of any statement the other person makes.

(short pause)

Mr Vibrating: No it isn't.

MY POINT IS ..... you should let other have an opinion especialy if you asked for one. You state very clear ALL your opinions. And don't seem to want anyone else to have one. Pretty simple and clear

Do you understand now?

Man: It is.

Mr Vibrating: Not at all.

Man: Now look.

Mr Vibrating: (Rings bell) Good Morning.

Man: What?

Mr Vibrating: That's it. Good morning.

Man: I was just getting interested.

Mr Vibrating: Sorry, the five minutes is up.

Man: That was never five minutes!

Mr Vibrating: I'm afraid it was.

Man: It wasn't.

(Pause)

Mr Vibrating: I'm sorry, but I'm not allowed to argue anymore.

Man: What?!

Mr Vibrating: If you want me to go on arguing, you'll have to pay for another five minutes.

Man: Yes, but that was never five minutes, just now. Oh come on!

Mr Vibrating: (Hums)

Man: Look, this is ridiculous.

Mr Vibrating: I'm sorry, but I'm not allowed to argue unless you've paid!

Man: Oh, all right.

(pays money)

LLLL .coms are good and are a gold mine because I have some of them so I will be on this side. No matter what :D

For those who don't have it or have it and still want to argue then it is fine. Because I don't think that this thread is going anywhere with.

So I will take the burden and say that Yes LLLL.com is the best. LLLL.com is gold. LLLL.com is lottery. I can dream whatever I wish with my LLLL.com's There is nothing to argue on this subject. It is simple and clear case of singing their own songs now and then.

LLLL.com lovers will remain LLLL.com lovers and LLLL.com Haters will remain LLLL.com haters. [Only in some cases this might change the minds of people who had an experience that made them to change their minds]

I don't mind the debates. I love seeing people respectfully disagreeing with each other. I think it is a great way to understand why people have their own different opinions. When people take it personally and express signs of anger and disrespect, that's when it gets annoying.

I got into 4 letter domains because I thought names like VURG for reg fee were a bargain. I kept getting more and more because they were easy to sell.

A lot of people who invest in high traffic names have no interest for low traffic short names and vice versa. This is a common cause of tension. I still struggle to understand what a good traffic domain looks like but I don't let bother me too much because I don't specialise in that area. People who know how to find the traffic domain bargains may be finding better names than I do. Good on them!

Man: Oh, all right.

(pays money)

Mr Vibrating: Thank you. (short pause)

Man: Well?

Mr Vibrating: Well what?

Man: That wasn't really five minutes, just now.

Mr Vibrating: I told you, I'm not allowed to argue unless you've paid.

Man: I just paid!

Mr Vibrating: No you didn't.

Man: I DID!

Mr Vibrating: No you didn't.

Man: Look, I don't want to argue about that.

Mr Vibrating: Well, you didn't pay.

Man: Aha. If I didn't pay, why are you arguing? I Got you!

Mr Vibrating: No you haven't.

Man: Yes I have. If you're arguing, I must have paid.

Mr Vibrating: Not necessarily. I could be arguing in my spare time.

to me there is not much to argue even if you want to:

this is ecnomic 101, the demand and supply.
1. the supply is limited
2. the demand is going up (unless something else happens).

Yes I am absolutely sure. I was merely pointing out the fact that people feel the need to tell others what great money they are making. I stated several times (You must of overlooked this) that I am very happy for these people and that the sales of these names will help our market. For the very LAST time I will say that :imho: these names TO ME are not worth very much over the long term. Is that as clear as possible yet?
