I recently launched a site that sells web 2.0'ish domain names that are pretty unique. I am a huge believer in bootstrapping and guerilla marketing so I am looking for cheap or low cost solutions.

In your opinion, what would be the best way to promote my domain names to potential buyers? My target market would be web 2.0 startups looking for a clever name with spunk and personality.

Any feedback is appreciated, thanks in advance.

I know there are blogs out there (TechCrunch, Mashable, etc.) that focus on web 2.0 startups. Maybe you could get some kind of partnership or advertising space with them and promote your domains. Maybe even develope a widget they could add to their blogs that streams your domains and links to your website. Just my .02 :)

Not a bad idea but I am trying to find free ways to market :) It's tough but not impossible.

The easiest way is to showcase your portfolio in one single place, then advertise the hell out of the site where your portfolio is located.

For example, part of my portfolio is located at BeachsideDomains.com. When I am finished getting it all set-up, I'll be promoting it like crazy.

ManicGirl has a great site. I recommend checking it out: http://www.DomainBash.com

Once you have a central place to send people, go out there and advertise it for free all over the place.
