Selling to potential buyers

I am looking for some example emails what I can send to potential buyers. I know this subject was here on NP but cannot find it anymore. I just want to create short email but have no idea where to start.

Did you have ever succeeded to sell a domain by writing to potential buyers or is this a waist of time. Just let me know your experience.
