Hi guys, wondering if I can pick some brains.

If you pre-register for domain names, through the landrush procedure, and get them - i.e. nobody has decided to reg them over the sunrise periods...

Can you then be guilty of trademark infringement?

Cheers in advance.

Thanks guys. Any site where you can check if a name is trademark?

As a rule you are always liable if it can be demonstrated that you are not entitled to the names, or that they were registered in *bad faith*.

If you're rushing in another extension's sunrise period, though, that won't be
sufficient. Especially for a ccTLD, check that country's TM database, if any.

Of course, the best is google.
